Project for 2015: Support of the Jane Goodall Institute through a Global Tombola

Dear Friends,

On Tuesday, June 16, we have our monthly Grandhouse lunch with Dr Jane Goodall as our Speaker; for all details, please see the invitation below. Of course, it will be much easier for those, who live in Hungary, to join us. But we are also holding a „Global Tombola” for the benefit of the Global Conservation Programs, initiated by the Jane Goodall Institute -  http://www.janegoodall.org/

Herend Porcelain Manufactory Ltd has offered a beautiful Herend porcelain base and lampshade with a value of Euro 670 (HUF 200.000) for such tombola. Here is a picture of the Herend porcelain base and lampshade:

Tombola tickets will be available as follows:

a) Euro 7 (HUF 2.000) per ticket for the participants at the Grandhouse lunch on June 16. Of course, the more tickets you buy, the better for the charity.

b) Euro 10 per ticket for those, who do not participate at the Grandhouse lunch. Also here counts, the more tickets you buy, the better for the charity.

Payments for the tombola-tickets either by cash during the lunch on June 16 or to be transfered before June 12 directly to the account number of Grandhouse International Club as stated in the letterhead of the invitation below.

The winner of the Tombola will receive the Herend porcelain lamp and shade at any location in the world, indicated by the winner before September 1, 2015.

Our next monthly lunch will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, with Dr Jane Goodall, as our speaker. We are very honored to have her with us and it certainly will be most interesting to hear first-hand about her life in Africa observing chimpanzees and how her other environmental and humanitarian projects developed from there. We expect a full house and therefore early registration is recommended.

As always, members are encouraged to take along guests/potential members.

Date: Tuesday, June 16, 2015

 

Time: 12.30 – 13.00: registration and welcome drinks.

 

            13.00 – 14.30: buffet-lunch.

 

Venue: KOGART House at 1062 Budapest, Andrássy út 112.

Cost: HUF 6.500 (incl. Áfa) for members and HUF 9.000 (incl. Áfa) for non-members. Cost covers: welcome drink; three course menu; wines and mineral water; coffee/tea after lunch; other drinks to be paid for separately.

Payments: in cash at time of registration. Formal receipts will be given upon request.

Cancellations: cancellations until evening of June 9. However, if cancellations are made after June 9, payments for lunch need to be made in full.
